Smilliard had his heart set on capturing the fascination that every little girl shares with becoming a Princess. He wanted to reignite this innocence in the heart of the woman that the girl had become. He famously gifted his lover - Hollywood royalty - Johanna Saltsberg with a 24 carat gold crown ring that symbolised his eternal love for her, to wear when she won an Oscar for her performance in 'Is Destiny Determined?'
